Respiratory Educators
Kitty completed her Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) training in London, ON and worked in many diverse areas including medical, surgical, home care, and wound clinics in the past 33 years. She joined the staff at the Haldimand Family Health team in 2008. Four years later, she expanded her role and took several courses through The Canadian Lung Association, Canadian Thoracic Society, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and The Ontario Respiratory Care Society to become a Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE) and Certified Tobacco Educator (CTE). She has also completed Training Enhancement in Applied Counselling and Health (TEACH) specializing in smoking cessation. Since 2012 Kitty has been providing respiratory programs with a focus on spirometry, asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and smoking cessation for the our community.

Missie is our Registered Respiratory Therapist. She completed her Advanced Diploma in Respiratory Therapy. She has previously worked in home oxygen therapy, CPAP care and at a sleep lab doing sleep diagnostics. Missie prides herself with her extensive knowledge in respiratory treatment, disease management, and spirometry. Missie will be providing education in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Asthma, Spirometry and Smoking Cessation.
